Tiamat's Stronghold - BG Terath - Still taking damage on the jump pad

As the title says, on Terath in Tiamat's Stronghold you are supposed to get on the jump pad when she teleports to the middle and does the AoE.
On retail I remember you did take some damage when on the jump pad but not this much to the point where it kills 3 of our members in the first jump pad phase.
You take crazy amount of damage even without the dot on you and being in the air.
