Camera maulfunction

While enjoying my nostalgic time through the game i couldn't help but notice a issue with the camera. While playing and at completely random times the camera will suddenly switch a different direction on you. While trying to reposition and the camera still reposition to a different location. The only thing i find to get out of it is to back up a good distance or unfoutantly be killed because you have no idea whats going on. I have tried to recreate the issues in the same spots but could never get it to switch. Thinking its completely random.
