Failed to initialize game [1024] (Support)

I downloaded via the google docs links. when i launch the game i get a Failed to initialize game [1024] error. any way to fix this would be great

It appears that the files in parts are corrupted, as many are having connection problems downloaded in parts.
Try to download the torrent file. Or wait until we make another file available in parts.

Even after downloading the Torrent version i still get this error.

My client is in my D: drive and there are no other aion clients in this drive.

Usually this happens because of a wrong version of directx so please Download DirectX (2008) from our website. 95% of this cases happens because of the directx!

I am having the same problem, but I have figured out which file is causing the problem - At least for me. It is a data.pak file within the data folder under Aion Epic > L10 > 1_enu > data. When I delete the file the game fully launches and is playable so far, but text and some other things are in Korean now. I am going to ask my friend to send a copy of their data.pak file, since they were able to play no problem, to see if it fixes it for me.

Our previous Google Drive had a few issues. We already uploaded a new you with zero problems.

I have already fully downloaded the new Google Drive client download twice, both times having the same problem, before finding what file was causing me the problem and deleting it. So for now, until maybe my friend gives me a copy of their data.pak, I'll be playing in mostly Korean and guessing what the quests want me to do.

But from previously looking for an answer to solve the problem other places, it seems like files in the L10N folders are usually the culprit behind the "Failed to initialize game [1024]" error.

same question with the "Failed to initialize game" but when I follow the people above delete the data.pak file. The game can be run, but we get the same issue. everything becomes Korean. Can someone fix this problem or share your data.pak file with me?

I had tried replacing the data.pak with a friend's but it did not solve the problem when I was originally trying to fix it. I have not reinstalled the game since I have got a new computer, so we shall see if I come to the same problem again.

I was also having this error until I deleted the data.pak. Everything is in Korean now though.. halp

Same issue here, Now I just play it with my old member since i don't understand any of the word now.

Please try to Update our client. We send a fix for this.

I was having the same problem as the OP as well then I changed my system locale to English (United States) and was able to access the game. Hope this helps.
